Programs: Photoshop, Corel Painter XI, Sai
Idea: She - a lonely street performer. Her life was extraordinary. She creates a fantasy out of nothing. She gives a smile. In a sad old town, only she and her faithful friend zebra can see what, in fact, is filled with air that we dishim! Magical, sweet, beautiful, funny creatures - that incarnation of the world of fantasy!
How to find the scribble: look at the monsters! Some of them enter into the skribble. When I saw these skribble in my head was the image of the magical creatures =3
Hi. This piece is an outstanding creation of your imagination, hands, and also I think a plenty of time. I like it a lot. So Ill describe it by parts.
Vision: Your vision of the female clown, like a street performer that is giving birth to this little colorfull creatures, is purely fantastic, beyond imagination! The parallel between poor clown female that lives in real world, and the story and fantastic creatures that she is creating is awesome. I think that about her we can say:
"When rain, or wind is blowing hard, when snow or cold is played by bard. Only the happy little clown will set your mood so bright, that your soul will start to light "
And this is Great!
Originality: Its not only great technique behind this but also great originality, I've never seen such things. Also I want to mention that I almost never seen in this contest people who used more then 1 more time the skribles. And you used them 4 times, I think And this is just awesome!
Technique: The technique used in this piece, is so unique that when you are looking at this piece, every time you have the feeling that you are steping into a dream world, and old old storytelling. You used great variant of making this piece, and I think the style and the technique used in this piece is mathing it perfectly.!
Impact: When I saw this piece first time, I thought: "I think this is downloaded plagiated version of some pieces that artist done in 18-19 century. " And I started just to search for similar works and didn't find nothing, and if so, I say to you.
This is a masterpiece, I like it very much. Great work. Keep going like this, and you'll become very very famous.
P.S. I'm Glad you win first place here and I'm upset you didn't win in Panda contest, but you should take at least 3rd place |GOod Luck
At first I wasn't sure what I was looking at, and thought 'why?' instantly though I answered myself: 'why not?"
I like how you've used the skribbles you are provided with to your advantage, in that you've gone absolutely nuts with them! It's such a playful and colourful piece of work. This is the the type of picture that a viewer could get lost in for ages, not just looking at the detail but picking out smaller images that seem to be created out of random strokes of the brush.
There is only one thing that I think you could improve in this. I feel you could have given her heaps more energy! Make her look like she's really throwing her creations into the world for all to see. As is I just feel like she seems a little bit static.
Over all I think this is an amazing piece of art and I hope you are very happy with it as, I'm sure, many people are happy to see it!
