Hello friends. Our new picture. We wanted to philosophize. Tibetan monks - is a phenomenon of humanity. Their religious view of the world is quite different from our usual routine, where no place or time to just sit and ponder the mysteries of man's connection with nature. The main character, a monk, he and his friend the bull go - around the poverty and devastation, flood, suffering. But all this does not concern him, he realizes that this is just life cycle. This flood to be. This is the river of time. Nothing is forever, but at the same time of the end is eternity.
We hope you enjoyed it, thanks for the comments and favorites
At first it looks really peaceful but then you see the houses in the backround which are destroyed and then again you see the peaceful mountains.
I really like the feeling of it. As you said you see the monk and he is not concerned by the destruction in the backround. I can feel his calmness.
I love the strong colours and also the moutnains and lightning in the backround.
It looks really amazing.
And you see that even when the houses are destroyed, life goes on and the planet will move though. I think you did a great Job, expressing the monks feelings.
This is, no doubt, a very colorful and enchanting piece. Starting off with the monk himself; his physique appears ectomorphic, which if it is, it was captured rather well! His complexion is that of the usual Tibetan, although for whatever reason his left arm appears lighter than the rest of himself, which simply reflects that the lighting could be portrayed a bit clearer.
The clothing folds are very detailed, it appears realistic. The tassels appear a bit dry in texture, but yet the portrayal corresponds with the rest of the piece just nicely. The anatomy of the yak is accurate, which is very impressive!
The shading is very well done, and the background is mysterious and captivating. The reflections in the water are mixed in a way where it appears foggy in the water, and the physics of the water and density are drawn very nicely. In general, this is an interesting and wonderous peace portraying the content attitude of the Tibetan monks.
I have included this wonderful artwork in the new feature on the front of the journal. Please the journal so that more members will see your art and thank you for being a member
